“There was that period of our national life, that the armies of the living God had defended our great country, Nigeria and had taken the offensive against economic saboteurs and the never-do-wells, but by one of those fatalities in war which disconcert the plans of the greatest generals, the enemies had not only taken the offensive, they’d also gained an in-road and an upper-hand, and the catastrophic effect is the emergence of those political foofaraws and foofooraws that has now impacted negatively on good governance. 2015 is nigh, the armies of our dear Lord, the brave ones, the undying ones, the impregnable and indefatigable armies of our Lord, ‘THE POOR MASSES’ of this great country called Nigeria, take your rightful positions and reclaim Nigeria.
Take back your patriotic sword and bear it in defence of nation building, greater political solidity and resource-control, economic empowerment, equal opportunities, justice, peace and progress. With all your powers, your perseverance and dominations of the past struggles, i wish to remember your invincible loyalty to your fatherland, for these assure me of the steadfastness of the fealty you swore to the Lord!” – Tajudeen Bakare

God, what offence did Brazil commit that they’d to be turned into such a footballing foofaraw? Really, there was more to Brazil’s disgraceful ouster from this World Cup tournament than meets the eyes. The outcome of this football anomaly really calls for an extensive investigation by FIFA. Did the Brazilian players get themselves involved in a sell-out plan, or they were simply overwhelmed by some tactical deficiencies they couldn’t provide solutions to? Could it be that they simply succumbed to a psychological defeatism occassioned by Neymar’s absence? Or they simply offered themselves as sacrificial lambs for some economic crumbs from the Germans’ and Europeans’ treasuries, knowing fully well that the Brazilian economy was in shambles? I believe, very seriously too, that some people need to be called upon to throw more lights into the saga!

Money freedom is what we need now in Nigeria, not Corruption.Political freedom is what we need, not tyranny.Wealth creation and job opportunities we need, not strangulation of economic freedom. There’s nothing wrong with somebody having money and having more opportunities; the key is to give more people more opportunities by limiting political cronyism, limiting government spending on frivolous projects, limiting the burden of ill-gotten wealth on the masses, and limiting the regulatory burden that is inimical to economic empowerment,so that millions of Nigerians can have and utilize the opportunities to be financially-independent.Millions of Nigerians deserve to be stupendously rich, not a roguish few.
